UPDATE: Our kits do not require you to wait or connect in a specific order. You may power on the kit and camera and connect the USB-C cable in any order.
- Power on the kit. (Note: The kit can take 2-6 minutes to boot completely. You will see 3 green lights when it's ready to go.)
- While the kit is booting up, set up the tripod and attach the camera to it.
- Connect the camera to the kit using the included USB-C cable. There will be an audible tone when you plug in the cable.
- Power on the camera (press and hold button for 5 seconds). The LiveControl app should launch automatically.
- Wait for the app to launch (about 10-30 seconds). The screen will show available locations.
- Select the location at which you scheduled the event. Then select your event from the list of events.
- The app will prompt you through the proceeding steps to verify the event choice and test your internet connection.
- Power on the microphone receiver (press and hold button for 3 seconds). Detach and power on each wireless microphones (press and hold button for 3 seconds). Place in appropriate areas and remind officiants that mics are live.
- When it is time to go live, tap Start Streaming.
- When the event is over, choose Stop Streaming. You’ll be prompted to confirm that you’d like to stop the stream.
- The app will automatically turn off the camera after the stream has ended.
- Unplug the camera and put the protective cover on it. Return it to the case along with the wireless microphones. Make sure the microphones are plugged into the case to charge.
- Charge the entire kit when not in use by plugging in the power cable to the right side of the case.
Important Reminders

When the app starts and is connected to internet, verify the Organization Name to confirm that you are logged into your account. The camera will retain the credentials so there is no need to log in each time.

Streams can be started any time during the day that they are scheduled (from 12:01am-11:59pm).

Audio will be live on the broadcast any time the microphones are turned on.

Once started, do not press “End Stream” until the event is over.

Dropped cell connection? Don’t worry, the camera locally records.

The mobile kit is not waterproof. Please keep it out of the rain.

View web player on your phone to verify stream and audio.

Keep the mobile kit plugged in and charging when not in use. Power should be off and the camera should be disconnected.

You can tap the QR code if you want to see a larger version. Scanning this code will open the event in your phone's browser.
Troubleshooting

If the camera cannot connect to a network, the screen will prompt you to record only. Once the event is complete, contact support to retrieve the video and add it to your dashboard.

If the camera will not turn on, the battery may be dead. Connect the camera to the mobile kit with the kit powered on and let the camera charge. Once charged, disconnect the camera from the kit before turning it on to use for an event.
