Splashtop software installation
Set up Splashtop on the computer you will be using for graphics sharing. Splashtop allows LiveControl remote access to your graphics computer to configure and troubleshoot graphics sharing. Please install Splashtop using this link on your PC or MAC: Download Splashtop
Instructions for installing on a PC
If installing on a Mac skip this section and move down to “Instructions to install on a Mac”.
1. Check the box “I trust the organization above and want to allow remote access to my computer”. Once the box is checked click “Download for Windows” on the Splashtop website.
2. Run the installer, once the file has been installed you will be prompted to confirm access to your computer.
3. Now that the installation is complete you will see this window and Splashtop will run in the background of your computer. LiveControl will install and train you on the use of the additional screen sharing software during your scheduled call.
Instructions for installing on a Mac
1. Check the box “I trust the organization above and want to allow remote access to my computer”. Once the box is checked click “Download for Mac”.
2. Run the installer, once the file has been installed you will be prompted to confirm access to your computer.
3. Splashtop will now ask you to allow each of the permissions below, each permission will ask you to unlock your settings which generally requires a password for each setting.
4. Once all permissions have been accepted your window will look like the below image.
