Installation
1. Connect your computer to our white, MicroTik 5-port Router with a Cat 6 cable. This will supply your laptop with the same network connection as our encoder. Plug into any available port on the MicroTik Router (typically, port 5 is available for your use). If you have a 10-port Router, you will follow the same process.
2. Install Splashtop on your computer. LiveControl will ask you to install a screen sharing software, Splashtop, that will allow us to configure your computer to work with our system. Click here to download Splashtop software. You can find additional information for installing Splashtop here. After completing step 2, please leave your laptop open, plugged in, and with “sleep mode” off.
3. Schedule a time with LiveControl to set up your computer for Screen Sharing by emailing support@livecontrol.io. Let them know if you were able to leave your laptop open, plugged in, and with sleep mode "off". If you are in the onboarding process, you may complete this sync during your Installation Check Meeting.
4. Meet with LiveControl. Our Production Success team will meet with you to show you how everything works and run a test so you can view the screen sharing on our Web Player. We do need someone present in the sanctuary for the Graphics setup meeting, ideally the person who will be running the program!
