As you prepare to watch a LiveControl stream, follow the tips below for a seamless viewing experience.
Viewing tips
Head to the viewing page: Get your viewing page (LiveControl Web Player, Facebook, YouTube, etc.) set up a few minutes ahead of time and ensure that your internet connection is strong.
Don't forget to press play: If you came to the page before the event started, don't forget to click the play button.
Volume: Everything looking okay so far? Let's be sure you have your computer and Web Player volumes turned up! If you experience no or low volume, this is likely the culprit.
Buffering: Does it look like there's a lag due to the event buffering? No problem! Refresh your open browser and everything should play as smoothly as expected.
Stream intermittence: If you're running into issues with the stream starting and stopping, try a different browser or a different device. Sometimes that will help!
Slow streaming: If you're noticing that your viewing experience is extremely lagged, you can run a speed test here. If your internet speeds are slow, you may want to consider reaching out to your Internet Service Provider.
Casting on Google Chromecast & Apple Airplay: Though the web player should work through Chromecast and Airplay, not all TVs and Connected Devices are supported. You might have an older TV that doesn't have Chromecast built-in or might be trying to stream to an Xbox, PlayStation or Roku which aren't supported right now. Please consult the help documentation for your device.
