When will I get more information about my account transition?
Within the week, we’ll call and introduce ourselves. When your account is ready to transition, you’ll also receive an Introduction Email with detailed instructions on next steps. -
Is my contract going to change?
No - your contract and plan will stay exactly the same! We’ll provide you with the same live streaming, at the same rate, with the same renewal date. -
Will my equipment change?
We’ll send you an encoder (a computer hub that lets our team manage your cameras remotely) along with simple setup instructions that take about 10 minutes. It’s not large, about the size of a personal pizza box! After installation, you’ll schedule a quick Technical Sync with our team to make sure everything is ready for your next service. P.S. you should expect to see a nice boost in your video quality because of this device! -
When should I start scheduling with LiveControl instead of LocalLive?
Once your new equipment is installed and tested during your Technical Sync, you’ll begin scheduling all future streams directly with LiveControl. -
Will there be any downtime during the transition?
No - we’ve designed the transition process to be seamless. As long as the new equipment is installed and tested by the deadline (which will be identified in your Introduction Email), there will be no disruption to your live streaming. -
Will my past recordings or archived services move over to LiveControl?
We will move all of your past streams with LocalLive into our LiveControl Content Library (found on the Dashboard) and you’ll be able to access it from your LiveControl Dashboard at any time. -
Will the quality of my live streams change?
You’ll still receive professional, high-quality live streams, but with some enhanced support and features available through LiveControl. -
Do I need to update anything for my viewers?
Yes - You will be given a new streaming page link. We will also automatically redirect your viewers from your LocalLive web player to the LiveControl web player so they have a seamless experience.
