What is are Isolated Camera Recordings?
Isolated Camera Recordings (ISOs) means that footage from all cameras in your LiveControl setup will be saved individually. Standard recordings can be downloaded after an event and include only the produced (final cut) footage. ISOs enable you to have the entire event captured from all camera angles. This is particularly useful for those using footage for editing and content later on.
Please note this is for customers with Pro setups only. Contact Customer Success to add ISOs to your account.
How do I use ISOs?
Step by Step Instructions
- Start by adding a new Produced Event via the Event Schedule tab. *This feature is only available for Produced Events.
- Schedule your Produced Event as normal. Learn more about how to schedule a Produced Event in this article.
- Continue through the scheduling flow until you reach the step for Streaming Options.
- Scroll down to toggle on the option for Receive ISO Recordings.
- Finalize your event details and click Finish to save.
Why would I use ISOs?
ISOs provide you with the maximum footage options by enabling you to download the footage from all cameras after your streams. If you edit your events after live streaming, or use your footage for content, promotions, etc., ISOs provide you with the widest range of angles and shot options.
FAQ
Can I stream the ISOs to my destinations?
No. Your destinations will receive the live broadcast during your event, meaning they will see one shot at a time, as produced by your videographer.
Where can I view and download my ISOs?
This depends on how your ISOs plan. If you are using capture cards, you will be able retrieve the footage yourself. If you are not, LiveControl will provide a folder link where all your ISOs will be stored. ISOs will be stored for 30 days at a time, so be sure to download them after your events.
Which event types support ISOs?
Produced events only.
