What are Production Notes?
Our videographers are trained to make the best production choices throughout your events, and will use their discretion when employing your production preferences. You can use the Production Notes section of the Dashboard to set general preferences that will help guide them. Production Notes may be customized per location.
Production Notes enable you to provide guidance to your Videographer without needing to enter specific notes for each event. Of course, if you do have event-specific notes, you may use the "Videographer Event Notes" when scheduling.
How do I customize my Production Notes?
Step by Step Instructions
- Navigate to the Stream Settings -> Production Notes tab.
- Select the location for which you'd like to adjust your preferences.
- The preferences are broken down into various categories with the ability to select your preference for each category. The categories are broken down and described on the Production Notes page. Select one option for each category.

Be sure to save! Once you have made all of your selections, locate the Save button at the bottom of the page. You can decide if you wish to apply those selections to all locations or just the one you are viewing. If you want to apply to all locations, click the checkbox before clicking Save. Please note, applying to all locations will overwrite any previously selected options for other locations.

How long before an event should I make my selections to ensure the Videographer sees them?
Selections must be finalized at least 24 hours before an event. Production Notes are meant to be general preferences that are somewhat permanent. For event-specific notes, use the "Videographer Event Notes" when scheduling.
How can I provide more detailed or specific notes to the Videographer?
