Analytics are a great way to understand your audience. Below you will find a description of how we calculate each metric.
Viewing your analytics for an individual event
To view analytics for a past event, follow the steps written below:
-
Open the Content Library -> Library tab of your Dashboard.
-
Select the video you'd like to view analytics for.
-
You should see your analytics load on the right side of the page, or below if you are on smaller screens.
Notes about analytics
-
Once your live stream has ended, it will take approximately 2-24 hours for your event analytics to be ready.
-
Analytics are only for the LiveControl Web Player. If you have simulcasted your live stream to other destinations (like Facebook or YouTube), those views will not be represented here.
- To see analytics for multiple events at once, you may select "view data for the past 90 days" on the Content Library --> Event --> Analytics --> Export Data drop-down menu. Learn more about downloading your analytics here!
Understanding the numbers
Here are the analytics that we display and an explanation to help you better understand what these numbers mean.
Event Analytics
Device Info
We take the number of Total Views displayed above and break it down by device type.
Top Locations
We take the total video views and break this down by geographic location.

Analytics not loading
If your analytics are not yet ready you might see a message that says, "We're processing your analytics. Please check back later." If after 24 hours there still are no analytics, it is likely that your event had no views. This can happen if no one has viewed your event via the LiveControl Web Player.
