Event Types – LiveControl

Produced Events

A remote Videographer will control both cameras, panning, tilting, and zooming for the best production!
Must be scheduled 48 hours in advance (unless otherwise noted in your SLA)
Must cancel more than 24 hours ahead of the event. Cancellations within 24 hours will be charged a Service Credit.
For majority of our customers, a Service Credit represents 2.5 hours of operated service use. If an event runs longer then the credit length (i.e. 2.5 hours), then another credit will be deducted. Please refer to your contract for the length of your Service Credits.
Your LiveControl Videographer will follow the intuitive flow of your Event and will utilize your provided Videographer notes.

The main camera (usually the front facing camera) with the static wide shot will begin recording at the scheduled time. There will be no movement.
Can be scheduled up to 15 minutes in advance.
Can cancel at any time.
Does not cost a credit.
You may stop a Static Event by hitting the red circle on your Current Event tab of your Dashboard Schedule.
You may extend time on the Static Event by choosing the change end time option on the Current Event tab of your Dashboard Schedule.
Most clients schedule Static Events for tests or last-minute events.

Test Events enable you to run a 30 minute test of your main static camera in order to test out lighting, audio and framing. Test events have a unique web player link, but will not appear on your public-facing Web Player or Profile Page.
Can be scheduled up to 10 minutes in advance.
Can cancel at any time.
Does not cost a credit.
You may stop a Test Event by hitting the red circle on your Current Event tab of your Dashboard Schedule.

Simulated Live Events enable you to upload a previously recorded event and play it live on the web player (and other destinations).
Can be scheduled up to 2 hours in advance.
Can upload a video from your LiveControl Archive or from your computer.
Can cancel at any time.
Does not cost a credit.
