How do I schedule a Simulated Live Event?
Step by Step Instructions
- Start by logging into your customer Dashboard and going to your Event Schedule.
- Click Add New Event, and select Simulated Live.
- Continue through the steps of the scheduling flow to add event details and time.
- Click Finish to confirm the event. You will see a confirmation screen when the event has been scheduled.
Why would I use a Simulated Live Event?
Use a Simulated Live event to stream a pre-recorded video to any and all of your Destinations, or re-stream a previous event from your archive. Simulated Live events can also be used to upload content to your LiveControl Web Player & Archive, so that it exists in the same library as all of your other content.

How much lead time should be given when scheduling Simulated Live events?
We recommend scheduling your events with as much notice as possible. Depending on file size, 2 hours in advance should be enough for Simulated Live.
Do Simulated Live events cost a service credit?
No, Simulated Live events do not cost a service credit, as there is no Videographer operating the cameras during the stream.
Is there a file size limit when uploading a video?
There is no max file size limit when uploading a video. File size will influence how long the upload takes.
