What is a Mobile Kit Event?
Mobile Kit Events are single camera broadcasts streamed using the LiveControl Mobile Kit. Mobile Kit Events enable you to stream to your LiveControl destinations from outdoor and off-site locations, relying on a triple-bonded network for maximum reliability.
How do I schedule a Mobile Kit Event?
Step by Step Instructions
- Start by logging into your customer Dashboard and going to your Event Schedule.
- Click Add New Event, and select Mobile Event.
- Continue through the steps of the scheduling flow to add event details, time, preferences, and streaming destinations.
- Click Finish to confirm the event. You will see a confirmation screen, including the event details and share link.
Why would I use a Mobile Kit Event?
Mobile Kit Events can be used for any type of event you are hosting off-site or outside - where you do not have LiveControl cameras installed. We recommend performing a test with the Mobile Kit from the location you plan on streaming from ahead of the event, to check the network, audio, and lighting.

How much lead time do I need to provide when scheduling?

What happens if the scheduled event time changes on the day of?
If you need to make changes to your Mobile Kit event on the day of, please contact LiveControl Support at (310) 361-4169 so they can ensure this is done correctly.
What happens if network issues prevent a stream?
LiveControl Mobile Kits are built with triple-bonded network connectivity, meaning if one network is unavailable, there are others the kit will attempt to connect to. If no networks are available, as a last resort, your event will be recorded to the hard drive inside the Mobile Kit. Should this occur, our Support Team will coordinate with you after the event to retrieve the file and add it to your online Archive.
