What is a Test Event?
Test Events are useful for internal tests of your space: lighting, audio, framing, etc. Test Events do not go live on the public-facing Web Player and are limited to 30 minutes.
How do I schedule a Test Event?
Step by Step Instructions
- Start by logging into your customer Dashboard and going to your Event Schedule.
- Click Add New Event, and select Test Event.
- Continue through the steps of the scheduling flow to add event details and time.
- Click Finish to confirm the event. You will see a confirmation screen when the event has been scheduled.
- If you need our assistance during a test event, give our Support Team a call.
Why would I use a Test Event?
Use a Test Event to check lighting, audio, graphics, or any other elements of your stream. You may also be asked to schedule a Test Event if you are working with Support to troubleshoot an issue.

How can I view the stream once the Test Event is live?
You may view the stream by logging into your Dashboard - events that are currently live will appear in the "Live Events" section of your Event Schedule. Alternatively, you may view the stream at the Share Link - which will be provided on the confirmation screen at the time of scheduling, or click here to learn more about finding a Share Link.
How much lead time do I need to provide when scheduling?
Test Events can be scheduled up to 5 minutes prior to the desired start time.
How long is a test event?
All test events are 30 minutes long. You can end the test early if you wish by clicking on the "Stop" button from the settings button.
Do Test Events use credits?
No, Test Events do not cost a credit.
