What is a Produced & Mobile Event?
Our Produced & Mobile Flow allows funeral homes to provide their viewers with one link to a service that begins indoors and continues graveside. The LiveControl Dashboard will automatically combine both events for the viewer using one link, providing a dedicated landing page for the viewer to go to.
Produced Events must be scheduled at least 24 hours in advance (unless otherwise noted in your SLA). You may provide notes to your Videographer through the scheduling flow.
How do I schedule a Produced & Mobile Event?
Step by Step Instructions
- Start by logging into your customer Dashboard and navigating to your Event Schedule.
- Click Add New Event, and select Produced + Mobile.
- Select appropriate mobile and indoor locations.
- Input title, date, time, description for both events.
- Customize service as desired: Thumbnail, Password, Chat, Viewers, Registration, etc...
- Add Client Contact information.
- Confirm LiveControl Web Player as streaming destination.
- Click Schedule to confirm the event.
You will immediately see the link for the landing page of both services. This is the link the family will receive via the Client Contact Email. Below is a sample picture of what the landing page will look like.
Once the Produced Indoor service ends, all the viewers will be automatically redirected to the graveside stream. If viewers arrive late to the link, or would like to view the recording, they can select which live stream they would like to watch using the landing page.
Starting and Stopping a Mobile Kit Stream:
This article outlines the steps to starting and stopping a mobile graveside stream.
Once the outdoor service is over, press “stop streaming” directly on the mobile camera. It will then end the stream on the Web Player and automatically turn the camera off.
Why would I use a Produced +Mobile Kit Event?
Produced Events are your go-to for providing a high quality live stream and video recording. The Mobile Kit enables you to take LiveControl on the go, providing video & live stream for all parts of a service no matter where they are held. The combined scheduling process creates a streamlined experience for viewers.
FAQ
How often should I charge the Mobile Kit? How long does it last on a full charge?
Plug the mobile kit into the provided charger whenever you can. A full charge lasts between 6-8 hours. Ensure the cameras are put back into the mobile kit, and microphones plugged in to charge.
What happens if my service is delayed or runs long?
For the Produced Event, LiveControl videographers are trained to end your stream at the event's natural ending point. If you are running behind and plan on starting late, we recommend giving our Support Team a call.
Once the indoor stream is completed by the videographer, any viewers watching the indoor service on the LiveControl Web Player will be automatically redirected to the outdoor service link. If the Mobile Kit / graveside service is delayed, you can start the mobile stream at any time on the day of the scheduled stream.
How will the family receive the download links?
Although the viewer is cohesive with the single landing page, both services are completely independent and the family will receive two downloads after the services.
What happens if the Mobile Kit's connection drops during the stream?
The Mobile Kit uses a triple-bonded connection, meaning a very stable and reliable connection to the network during your streams. Even if the live stream drops on the mobile kit, the camera will still continue to record locally with audio. Follow the Troubleshooting instructions here.
