What is the Mobile Streaming?
The LiveControl Mobile App allows you to stream and record from virtually anywhere using an iPhone or iPad. Depending on your needs, we offer three mobile streaming options to choose from:
- iOS App (Bring Your Own Device)
- iOS App + iPad Bundle
- Mobile Enterprise Kit
Each option is designed to meet different levels of usage, mobility, and support. Read on to find the best fit for your team.
About our LiveControl Mobile iOS App
The LiveControl Mobile App is simple and intuitive. Just download it from the App Store, log in using your LiveControl Dashboard credentials, and you're ready to stream. All event scheduling continues to take place on the Dashboard to keep the app focused and easy to use.

iOS App
How it works
Use your own iPhone or iPad with either WiFi or a cellular connection to stream directly through the LiveControl Mobile App.
To add Mobile streaming to your account, please contact Customer Success.
Requirements
- Device: iPhone 8 or newer, or iPad with iOS 10 or later
- Operating System: iOS only (Android is not supported at this time)
- Cellular Service: Provided by you
- Accessories: Not included
Things to note

Stream quality is dependent on:
- Strength of your cellular or WiFi signal
- Your physical location (e.g., walls, tall buildings may affect connectivity)
- Your device's hardware
- Permissions: Users must have Manage/Edit Events permissions enabled in the LiveControl Dashboard. Without these, events will not populate in the app.
- Support Limitations: LiveControl Support cannot control stream quality when using the Mobile App.

iOS App + iPad Bundle
How it works
We’ll send you an iPad along with all the necessary accessories to get started.
The iPad must be added to your cellular plan to enable mobile streaming.
To add this bundle to your account, reach out to Customer Success.
Requirements
- Device: iPad (provided by LiveControl; ownership transfers to your team)
- Operating System: iOS only (Android is not supported at this time)
- Cellular Service: Must be added by you via your provider

- Tripod
- Two external microphones
- Sun screen protector
- Heavy-duty iPad case
- Lightweight carrying bag
*Note: All equipment is owned by your team. Replacements are your team's responsibility.

Mobile Enterprise Kit
How it works
For customers who stream at high volume, our Mobile Enterprise solution offers a more powerful and reliable mobile streaming setup. This package includes:
- LiveControl-managed dual-cell bonding for enhanced connection stability
- Managed iPad data plan (we handle the setup and service)
- All necessary equipment included, including the iOS device and accessories
This is our most robust mobile streaming option - ideal for multi-location use, large-scale operations, or events where connection reliability is critical.
