What is a Recurring Event?
Recurring events enable you to easily schedule streams to happen more than once on a repeating schedule! Once you create a recurring event, you'll see each occurrence of the event scheduled on your Dashboard as a separate stream.
How do I create a Recurring Event?
Step by Step Instructions
- Start by logging into your customer dashboard and going to your Event Schedule.
- Schedule your Produced or Static Event as normal. Learn more about how to schedule events in this article.
- As you complete the Event Details within the scheduling flow, turn on the Recurring Event toggle.
- Set the schedule for your Recurring Event.
- Click Continue and complete the final steps to schedule the event.
Why would I create a Recurring Event?
Recurring Events save you time! If you have an event that happens at the same time every week or month, this feature allows you to 'bulk schedule' and enter the event details only one time.
FAQ
How many recurrences can I schedule at one time?
This depends on the schedule you're using for the recurring event. If the event is recurring weekly or monthly, you can schedule up to one year out (so 52 weekly, or 12 monthly). If scheduling for more frequent recurrences, you can schedule up to 100 recurrences per scheduling flow.
If I change one event will it update all of the recurrences?
No - once the events are scheduled, they exist as separate streams on your Dashboard. If you need to make edits after the events have been scheduled, you'll need to update each stream individually.
If I schedule multiple events at one time, will the same Videographer be assigned to all of them?
No - booking recurring events does not guarantee the same videographer. If you're interested in a consistent videographer, please contact your Customer Success Manager.
