How long will installation take?
Depending on your space and equipment, installation can take 4-8 hours.
Does someone on our team need to be there?
We’ll need someone onsite who has access to anywhere the cameras and other hardware will be installed. After our first meeting, we’ll help you decide who from your team needs to be there.
Who will be onsite from LiveControl?
We generally send 1-2 of our professional installers.
Where are the cameras mounted?
We’ll make this decision with you once we get a better understanding of your space, walls, and how we’ll be running cables. Typically they are mounted toward the back of the room on a wall using a provided L-bracket.
How much space is required for the equipment?
The individual components are about the size of a small toaster and can be put with your existing equipment.
What do we (the customer) need to provide?
LiveControl needs a connection to your sound system (our audio interface supports XLR and 1/4” balanced) and a connection to your local network for internet access. LiveControl will provide the ethernet cable and mounting hardware for our cameras.
What kind of power supply?
We require continuous, always-on power. Our equipment requires less than one 20A circuit.
Will we get to see the camera feed that day?
Yes — we’ll show you the camera feed once we have everything set up. We may also be able to test your audio and make color/lighting adjustments.
