Your first event is a calibration event, an opportunity for us to make final tweaks and for you to see what LiveControl is all about!
Here is what to expect
After your first event, you'll receive event feedback and tips from our team and you'll have the opportunity to submit feedback via the Feedback Form in the Content Library. We will work together to make the production match your team's unique brand.
Step 1 - Schedule your event
Produced Events - With a Videographer, schedule any produced events at least 48 hours* in advance of the service start time (*Unless otherwise specified in your contract). Your first Produced Event is your first event.
Videographer Notes/Cue Sheets - Add any notes for the Videographer to the "Videographer Notes" section in the scheduling sequence. Notes may include suggestions like "please get close ups of the person speaking" or "only wide shots when choir is singing".

Step 2 - Before your event, run several tests
- Schedule a Test event
Audio - Plug headphones into our audio interface and ensure that there's a clean signal from the sound system coming into that mixer
Visual - Pull up your web player to check your feed at the start of the service OR check your encoder program monitor (see below for setup)
- Client-Managed Graphics - Here are helpful notes for troubleshooting your Graphics Add-On (if applicable)
Step 3 - Check your audio and visual at the start of the stream

Step 4 - For extra visibility, set up your encoder program monitor
If you would like to connect an external monitor to our encoder for a live program view, give us a call on the support line
You may need an adapter to connect your monitor to our encoder. Most of our encoders have a DisplayPort connection available.
It should turn on 30 min prior to produced events, 5 min prior to static events
And if you unplug it after the initial setup, call us to reconnect
Step 5 - Call us if you need support
